Teachers
We make life easier for teachers
Do you find it hard to devote adequate time to developing disability awareness in your school? Do you have pupils at your school or pupils about to join with special educational needs? Our workshops can help prepare you and your pupils.
To take the weight off your shoulders, our workshops are tailored to map closely to National Curriculum and government requirements, giving pupils an exciting and fruitful learning experience.
How can our workshops help you?
We help you address National Curriculum requirements for:
- PSHE at KS1, 2, 3 + 4
- Citizenship for KS1, 2, 3 + 4 on personal social and emotional development, as well as knowledge and understanding of the world
We help you contribute to these Every Child Matters outcomes:
- Staying Safe – addressing bullying, discrimination and keeping children safe
- Make a Positive Contribution – developing positive relationships free of discrimination and prejudice
Our work makes a positive and meaningful contribution to the inclusion of children and young people with a disability in all schools.
We also help you promote positive attitudes, social inclusion, community cohesion and eliminate discrimination against disabled people. In this way you’ll also be upholding the requirements of the Disability Equality Duty and the Healthy Schools Standard.
